1. Everything Happens on Your Device
Most PDF tools ask you to upload your documents to their servers. We don't. We built CarePDF to run the code straight from your web browser, which means:
- We never upload your files anywhere.
- We don't store your documents.
- We have absolutely no way to read or access what's in your PDFs.
2. The Little Data We Do Collect
Since the tools run on your machine, we don't need much information to keep the site running. Here is what we do collect:
- Basic Website Stats: We count page visits to see which tools people use the most. This data is grouped together and doesn't identify you personally.
- Emails to Us: If you send us a message through our contact form, we'll keep that email so we can reply and help you out.
3. Cookies and Saving Preferences
We don't use tracking cookies to follow you around the internet. If we save anything in your browser (like remembering you prefer dark mode), it stays on your device just to make the site easier for you to use next time.
4. The Servers We Use
Our website code is hosted on standard, secure platforms (like Vercel or Cloudflare). These services might automatically log basic network info, like IP addresses, just to keep the servers secure and stop attacks. They don't use this to track who you are.
5. Updates to This Page
If we ever change how we handle privacy, we'll update this page and change the date at the top so you always know where we stand.
